Barry’s ‘Blueprints Trio’ with bassist Jacques Emery and drummer Alex Inman-Hislop continues to mine the terrain established by his 2018 quartet release Blueprints & Vignettes (awarded 4-stars in the Sydney Morning Herald and longlisted for the 14th Australian Music Prize). Replete with lyrical chromatic counterpoint, edgy rhythmic propellants, vivid harmonic hues, the music is brought to life by the the trio’s organic, uniquely intuitive improvisatory rapport.

The trio undertook two extensive tours of Australia & New Zealand in April 2019 and Feb/Mar 2020, before Covid-19 thwarted plans to record a debut album.
